n order to be able to perform the best we can at work we need to not only take care of our physical body, but we need to make sure our brain is in tip-top shape also. If you are like most people you have more things on your plate than you can do in a day and making sure that you get the proper food that you body needs may be low on the list. We may think that a latte and muffin make a great breakfast and lunch at the drive thru will just have to do and then in the afternoon the fog starts to set in our brain, we begin to drag, being less productive and cannot wait until it is 5 o’clock to go home. By feeding our brain and body the right food we not only can become healthier but our brains will perform better. Finding the right foods to eat and then eating smaller meals through out the day really works. When you start to feel that 3 o’clock drag setting in grab a handful of almonds and watch how much better you start to feel. Another great thing about eating several smaller meals each day is that it curbs cravings and you do not get that “starving” feeling which causes you to over eat. When your body feels good and your brain is sharp you become a more productive person and you can tackle your workday much better.
