Why are you happy to be alive?

1. I have three beautiful children with wonderful partners.  They make me smile every day I am alive.

2. I am expecting my first grandchild in November.  What an amazing experience this will be! (and it already is, I got to feel her little body yesterday nestled inside my daughter’s belly!)

3. My work is a canvas of my legacy.  I love doing some form of my work each day and my hope is that it has a positive effect on those I encounter.

4. I know that adversity will come in some form, but I also know that I will find a way to deal with it. (oh yes I can!)

5. Right now, I am alive and healthy.  I will rejoice in that!
