Are you good at solving problems and making the right decisions at work? Sometimes I get a bit stressed when it comes to these two subjects because I don’t want to make mistakes that could be costly, either financially or by causing employee issues. Depending on the type of problem, “thing versus human” the stress level will vary. If it is a “thing” problem then we just need to figure out how to take care of the “thing” the best we can. When it comes to people problems that is a whole different realm of problem as you want to take care of the issue with a positive result for all involved. When being faced with a problem that required some difficult decisions I came upon this website, which the link is below. It has a lot of information on these very issues and much more. The article section that I have linked has good information in learning how to define the problem, which I thought was great, because many times complex problems can be difficult to unwind to get to the heart of and there are times when the problem seems complex because of how it was presented and in reality it is not. We will always have problems and decisions to make, having good tools will only make us better at doing it right. I hope you glean some good tips to use like I did, leave me a comment and let me know.
