Every time we have a personal or professional encounter with someone we have the opportunity to make an impression on them about who we are and what we represent.

Often there are those who do not even give this reality a thought.  They just go through the motions of whatever their business task is with the end result in mind, not caring that they are having an affect on who they are encountering.

If one does not care about the encounter, they are missing out on an abundance of opportunities, for themselves, the person they are encountering and the business they work for.

Cranston Holden the author of the blog “Todays Manager” has a lot to say about how we should treat those that we encounter, not only in our professional life, but in life itself.

If you have not had the opportunity to visit Cranston’s site I suggest that you do so, he has an abundance of wisdom for those that are in the business world.

Cranston’s  latest post “Can I give you a Compliment?” would make a great topic for an office meeting.

Today when you enter your workplace, think about who you can give a compliment to, it will not only make their day, but yours also.
