We have the choice to choose how we will live each day. When things are bad, we still have the choice of how we will live through the day.
I have known people who were facing death’s door and from the way they acted, and the things they said, if you did not know they were close to dying you would have never guessed it.
Even though we may think we have been cheated somehow because things have not turned out the way we thought, we must realize that each day and every moment is a gift and how we live it is our choice.
Look for happiness in the smallest of things, it is there just take the time to look.
Happiness is ours, we can make it happen not only for ourselves but for those we encounter. Take the challenge it is so worth it, make someone smile today, the payback is tenfold.
As Randy Pausch (Author of the Last Lecture) was facing death’s door he stood strong believing that every breath, every moment was his to live until there were no more.
